On many occasions I am setting up multiple contacts with in one company in Outlook 2010 contacts folder. Typically there is common data across these contacts such as the fax number, web site, and mailing address. It is easy but not obvious how to create a new contact with the common information filled. Here is the best way to do it…
- Create one contact with all of the information available filled.
- Select the contact in Outlook and press CTRL-C.
- Unselect the contact then press CTRL-V.
- When the dialog box opens choose New Contact.
- Then edit your second contact.
