This is a surprising development considering the number of free remote access tools that have cropped up the last couple of years. Some free options include Google Chrome, TeamViewer, and others.
As IT professionals and advisers we have long had concerns about user-enabled access to corporate computer systems. Remote access can be a great tool, but if it is setup incorrectly it can be a large security hole in an otherwise secure network.
