RingCentral Desktop Heads Up Display (HUD)
RingCentral is making life easier for receptionists with the ability to track the availability of up to 100 users in an easy on-screen format. Many receptionists or those that handle a lot of inbound calls depend on a sidecar mounted on their phone. This new features allows operators to stay right on their screen while they process calls.
Another great addition is the ability for inbound calls to open a new desktop window. This will allow users to juggle multiple calls at once.
Scanning to fax just got a bit easier. Some scanners can now be setup to work directly with the RingCentral softphone. Instead of scanning a document to your computer then attaching the file to a fax you can simply assign a scanner to the softphone and fax with one simple click.
